A comprehensive psychiatric consultation is the first step for individuals considering treatment at Alverdia Health or seeking a second opinion.
This visit includes a detailed review of psychiatric history, medical history, lifestyle factors, and current concerns. The goal is to clarify diagnosis, assess contributing factors, and develop an individualized treatment plan that may include medication, behavioral strategies, or both.
Medication management at Alverdia Health is thoughtful, individualized, and evidence-based.
Treatment includes careful selection of medication when indicated, dose optimization, monitoring for effectiveness and side effects, and ongoing reassessment over time. Medication decisions are made collaboratively, with attention to overall health, lifestyle factors, and long-term treatment goals.
In addition to medication management, supportive and skills-based psychotherapy is incorporated into treatment as appropriate.
Sessions provide a structured space to explore stressors, patterns, and coping strategies. The focus is practical and goal-oriented, supporting emotional regulation, resilience, and improved daily functioning.
All services are provided through secure, HIPAA-compliant telepsychiatry.
Virtual care allows patients to receive high-quality psychiatric treatment in a private and convenient setting. Telepsychiatry also supports continuity of care while reducing barriers related to travel and scheduling.
